Lincoln Elementary Library was established in 1984 through a library grant from the State Department of Education. Jolene Singleterry was the media specialist. The library was originally two classrooms with a long hallway entry located upstairs. In 2001 a new library addition was built which provided a large area for books and other materials as well as space to comfortably seat up to two classrooms.
Many authors and illustrators have visited the library. Perhaps the most notable occasion was in 2002 when Governor Frank Keating and Mike Wimmer both came to the library to promote their book Will Rogers.
