Special Meritorious Service Award

Criteria

This award may be granted to one or more individuals who should be recognized for leadership and/or service, and for whom the Distinguished Service Award is not appropriate or to whom it has been awarded in the past. The award may be given to more than one individual each year although there is no requirement that it be awarded every year.

The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual's service to the profession above and beyond regular duties.

This award should not be considered in competition with, or conflicting with, the Distinguished Service Award.
